Our relationship with this sacred medicine is rooted in the spiritual path led by Aurelio Díaz Tekpankalli, a guardian of the Fuego Sagrado de Itzachilatlan tradition. Aurelio’s wisdom flows from the teachings of the Lakota tradition, passed down by Buffalo Calf Woman (Ptesáŋwiŋ)—the divine messenger who gifted sacred rituals to her people. Honoring this lineage, these teachings have been lovingly adapted to embrace the diverse traditions of native peoples across the Americas, creating a tapestry of inclusivity and unity.
